CPS Represents the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Mumbai. CPS is a Diploma course that involves the study of PG Medical courses. We provide Direct and Confirmed FCPS and CPS admission 2024. The diploma course has a duration of two years. The course involves the specialization of medical branches after MBBS. The course is a total of 90% practicals and 10% of theory. Those not eligible for Neet PG can also get admission to CPS and FCPS Courses. CPS is a PG advanced course training of advanced medical profession and training. It has consideration and accreditation in certain territories of India, including government, semi-government, and Private medical hospitals. The main motto of providing CPS and FCPS courses is to provide Medical specialist doctors in rural and suburban areas of India due to a lack of MD, MS, DM, and MCH doctors in India. CPS is an examining body according to the Royal College of Surgeons of England, and it’s similar to the National Board of Examination (Estd. By Act of Parliament, Govt. of India).

There are ten fellowships and 39 Diploma programs in total in CPS. There are 125 accredited medical institutions, including government medical colleges, Semi-government, and Private Medical colleges, that are eligible for the UGC Act to provide education in CPS and FCPS courses.

 

What Is The Eligibility Criteria for FCPS and CPS Admission 2024?

  1. The Basic eligibility criteria for FCPS and CPS Admission 2024 is that the candidate must have passed MBBS or other equivalent degree recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  2. Students must get a Certificate of Eligibility from CPS when enrolling in post-graduate courses (certificate course/ Diploma/ Fellowship) in CPS and FCPS Courses.
  3. The eligibility certificate is not required for students who have passed the MCPS Examination before 2009.

 

Procedure Of Enrollment

 

The selected candidate shall join the allotted institution by depositing all the original documents and paying the requisite fees by DD. Candidate shall obtain the post-holding certificate appointment order after completing the joining formalities at the selected institution.

Online enrollment forms will be made available by CPS at the end of the admission process and per the schedule declared by CPS for the enrollment process. Joined candidates shall fill out the online enrollment form available through their login and upload the requisite documents.

Joined candidates shall temporarily take back the original documents deposited with the institutes for verification by CPS during enrollment. Joined candidates shall personally visit the CPS office for verification of documents after filling out the online enrollment form.

Candidate must bring the following documents for verification:

  1. Original Post holding certificate
  2. Original Appointment order
  3. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of MBBS or equivalent qualification passing certificate (recognized by MCI)
  4. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Internship completion certificate (University and College)
  5. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Permanent registration certificate of MMC / State Medical Council where the candidate has joined.
  6. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Any other certificate to prove the eligibility, such as a result of screening test for foreign graduates, etc.
  7. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Identity proof, viz. State Medical Council ID card / Passport / Aadhaar card / Election ID card.
  8. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Receipt of the enrollment fees / DD of enrollment fee, if not paid.
  9. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Caste certificate, if applicable. (For Category candidates)
  10. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Validity certificate, by appropriate authority (For Category candidates)
  11. Original and two sets of self-attested photocopies of Valid Non-creamy layer certificate, if applicable. (For Category candidates)

 

If the candidate is found eligible after verification of the documents, an “eligibility” certificate shall be issued to the candidate, which shall be required for the completion of training in the desired enrolled course; without an eligibility certificate, the candidate shall not be allowed to complete the training and also to appear for the examination. After verification of the original documents at the CPS office, the candidate shall deposit all the documents back to the institution. The original documents shall be returned to the candidate after completing the enrolled course.

The candidates will be conferred the degree/diploma in the name in which the candidate has enrolled for the said course after he/she has successfully passed both theory and practical examinations simultaneously.

Yes, The CPS and FCPS Courses are recognized by the ministry of family and welfare India as well as the Medical Council of India*. But the CPS and FCPS Courses are Not valid for Teaching Purposes.

Where can a CPS and FCPS Degree holder Work?

A person Holding the CPS or FCPS Degree can work anywhere in India and can Practice doctrine. The only restriction is that they cannot Teach with cps and FCPS Degree.
